Current openings:Geospatial Analyst Qualifications include a BA/BS degree in Geography, Geology, Cartography, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with emphasis in GIS/GPS. Knowledge of ESRI suite of software, Oracle or SQL Server database software and proficient in CADD software (MicroStation, Bentley Map or AutoCAD 3D Map). Geospatial Technician Serves as onsite technician dedicated to an enterprise data management effort for US Army Central (USARCENT). It is a phased project to capture metadata, convert CAD artifacts to a standards-based personal geodatabase, and, ultimately, integrate documents with maps. Candidates possessing a SECRET clearance are preferred; all others must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance upon employment. Prior experience working with the military is a plus. Successful candidates possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Must possess the ability to quickly process, identify and categorize documentation. Candidates must be able to report for duty onsite at USARCENT, Fort McPherson, Georgia, and must reside within the Atlanta area for the duration of employment. Duty hours vary from 0630-1700. This position is project specific, with a maximum duration of six (6) months. Qualifications include a minimum of an AA/AS degree in Geography, Cartography, Planning, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field plus two (2) years experience; or a BA/BS degree in a related field. |
